Ava’s Closet is a nonprofit supporting foster children and the families who care for them.

More than 400,000 children are in foster care in the U.S., and foster parents often receive only hours’ notice before a child arrives with few belongings. Your donations help us provide Comfort Bags with clothing, toys, books, and essentials so each child is welcomed with dignity and care.

We also support children year-round with birthday and holiday gifts and host free events where foster families can connect and feel supported.

As former foster parents, we know not everyone can open their home, but anyone can help. Your donation makes a meaningful difference in a child’s life.
